This Sunday, in Washington, took place the 33rd annual Marine Corps Marathon and about 33,000 had put their names on the runners’ list.
The race started in Arlington, and continued into Northwest Washington, around the National Mall and then back to Arlington. Long before the race started and until 13:30 hours all the affected streets have been closed.
