Reports show that two people have died and one was severely injured today, alter being shot in the campus of the University of Central Arkansas.
The police forces have already arrested one person who is now in detention under remand, but it is still not certain whether the four attackers and the victims were students of the university or if they even knew each other.
The shooting took place this morning, in Conway, at about 50 km West of Little Rock (city capital of Arkansas), and Conway Regional Medical Center representatives have declared one of the victims died on site and the other at the hospital. Sources say the victims were all young men, of 18-19 years, and that the one who survived was shot in the leg.
Warwick Sabin, spokesman of the University of Central Arkansas has declared that he cannot give exact information regarding the attackers’ and victims’ identities and education status and that all the Monday courses have been suspended.
