Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood was shocked by the news that a man’s body was found inside a popular Italian restaurant.
The police say the body was found on Wednesday, in the basement of the Italian restaurant called ‘Lucca’s’ 2834 N. Southport Avenue.
The police attended site after they had received a 911 call, late after midnight, alerting them that a hands tied body of a man had been discovered.
The man’s identity was not yet revealed to the press, and all that was confirmed was that he was one of the restaurant’s employees. After investigating on the murder scene, the police have declared that he died as consequence of trauma, but no details were given, and that an autopsy will be performed today.
The news of this violent murder has shocked all those living in the quiet Lakeview neighborhood, as the restaurant was the last place they would have expected to be a murder scene.
